Valued at over 50,000 crores, tourism is the largest service industry in India, with a contribution of over 8% to the national GDP and over 9% to the total employment in India. With booming domestic tourism, travel business is set to escalate at much higher rates in near future. According to Tracxn, startups in travel business have received more funding than E-commerce marketplaces in 2016 and is set to be the highly funded sector of this year.
Digital disruption in the sports sector is increasingly influencing the sector’s media environment. The digital age is an area with enormous opportunities. All corners of the industry are in touch with digital. Whether it is stakeholders such as media rights holders, clubs and sports organisations or governing bodies in the sports industry.

Rushiraj Mori is the Managing Trustee of Invincible NGO & Chief Instructor at Youth Brigade. He is an alumnus officer training cadet of National Defence Academy (NDA) & Himalayan Mountaineering Institute (Darjeeling). He had scaled Mt Bidhan Chandra (18,176 ft) in 2013 and had become the first Gujarati to climb the same peak. He also climbed Mt Gangotri III (21,920 ft) in 2015 and became the youngest climber of world to summit the same peak. Along with this he is also the only person to take Shrimad Bhagwad Geeta up to 21,000 feet. He was also awarded with iSCALE award in 2014 & prestigious “iVolunteer Award” in 2015.
